TRENDS: Arrows
Playing with a mix of tribal and geometric trends, are arrows. They are prevalent in jewelry, accessories, clothing, and artwork. Culturally, where I live and in my family, are Native American roots. It's not uncommon to find old arrowheads while digging in various places. Archery, of course still exists, and is a eons old activity, whether for pleasure or survival. My favorite depiction of an arrow is straight through the heart, harking back to tales of Cupid and his arrows of love.
