BEAUTY DIY: 27 Body Scrubs

As we head into Fall it's that time of year to start thinking about gifts...to others and to yourself. A great way to treat yourself is a body scrub. They are great for scrubbing off dead skin all over your body while adding moisture and a lovely scent. They can be made to suit your scent preference. Sugar and/or salt, coconut oil, and your favorite essential oil makes a basic body scrub. Why pay high prices for store bought ones when you can whip up your own? My tween daughter saw me working on this post and requested that we make some for us. See, even the kids like it! I suggest making these in small batches, as their shelf life is 2-3 weeks. Store them in a dry place. Use them in the shower, since they can be messy. The smooth and moisturized results are instant. Have fun making your own body scrubs!
