NYC FASHION WEEK F/W 2015: di$count univer$e

At the VFiles group show, di$count univer$e, an Australian brand, showed their Fall Winter 2015 collection. Their collection is called "Dreams 'N Screams" which is a blend of darker and cheerful elements. This is a go-to brand for pop performers, as it has attention grabbing graphic imagery and bright colors. Watch the runway show below, and you'll see most of these looks are encrusted in sequins, which adds to the whimsical cartoonish style of the brand. The eye purses with tear drops are my favorite pieces of this collection, in which variations are featured in previous collections. I adore quirky bags, so this is something I'd love to replicate, but likely with paint and glitter vs. intricate sequins.
